5th International Conference on Future-Oriented Technology Analyses

As the European Commission's in-house science service, the Joint Research Centre has developed a capacity to look at new approaches and cutting edge techniques to policy making.

The JRC relies on foresight and horizon scanning to look at the longer-term impact of policies and technologies anticipating emerging societal challenges.

The three main themes for 2014 are:

Theme 2: Creative interfaces for forward looking activities

Theme 3: Cutting edge FTA approaches
