ESPAS Conference 2014 - Global Trends 2030: Key Challenges ahead for the European Union

Description

ESPAS will stage a major two-day conference on 17 and 18 February 2014 in Brussels devoted to some of the key questions Europe should be addressing in the coming years.  The conference will focus on issue ranging from the future of the European economy, to Europe's response to resource scarcity and Europe's role in an increasingly polycentric world.

The President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso leads an impressive line-up of public figures and policy experts from across the world who will explore current global trends, their impact on the European Union and possible policy options for the future.

The plenary sessions of the conference will be webcast. Details to follow.
