Fitting premises form

 

In order to guarantee a straight forward installation process, these are the characteristics of the equipments we are going to install.

Referring to the equipments planned for your site and listed in the Shopping list document (EI-84-XJ-03, vers. 1.1, date: 26 Feb. 1998), please check the following installation constraints.

Cabling constraints**

Router: must be installed close to the link connection, max. suggested length: 2 m.

 

Server & Firewall: maximum length suggested from the router 80m*, LAN socket connection must be available where systems will be installed.

Power consumption

Approx. 1 - 1,2 Kw per system.

 

 

(*) Please, remember that NFP will be responsible for all activities concerning internal cabling.

 

(**) Consortium will provide full cabling between provided hardware equipment, plus an Ethernet LAN connection of appropriate type for interconnection with existing infrastructure. The maximum length for any wire is expected to be no more than 5 metres.
