Column "Web-link": "https://" should be deleted if not necessesary (e.g. for the Swiss platform: www.bafu.admin.ch/klimaanpassung is sufficient).

Addressed "https://" deleted. However, It is the hyperlink address that has been copied so even though I have deleted it in the text it may still appear in the hyperlink.

We advise to add to the report information on the Baltic See Region Adaptation to climate change activities and include Baltic Window platform.

Please note that there is also a transnational adaptation platfrom developed for the Baltic Sea region as Europe's first macro-region.This transnational platform called baltic Window was developed within the transational project Baltadapt, www.baltadapt.org funded by the EU IV B Baltic Sea Region Programme (transnational ETC programme/ INTERREG) in the years 2010 - 2013 (implementation period 2011 - 2013). However, the platform is not developed as a stand-alone website but was from the beginning planned to be integrated into the EU CLIMATE-ADAPT platform as a sub-section. http://www.baltadapt.eu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=96&Itemid=171

Please double check with the comment by Lithuania.

    Addressed.

We have added the Baltic Window (linked via Climate Adapt) into the tables within the report and some descriptive text within section 1.3

There are web-based information portals for transnational regions, other regions and countries within Climate Adapt (http://climate-adapt.eea.europa.eu/transnational-regions).  For example, the Baltic Window is one such web-based portal. It provides information on the policy framework, essential organisations, and core documents as the proposal for a BSR-wide Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan developed within the Baltadapt project. It also includes information on impacts and vulnerabilities, and adaptation actions happening in the region. The baltadapt project www.baltadapt.org was funded by the EU IV B Baltic Sea Region Programme (transnational ETC programme/ INTERREG) from 2011 to 2013.

Please note that the Alpine adaptation portal, which has been prepared by the C3-Alps project, has been launched and is being marketed under the following name:

Climate Adaptation Platform for the Alps (CAPA)

  • downicla (Clare Downing) 02 Apr 2015 14:31:46

    Addressed.

All references to the platform changed to CAPA. All references to the project remain as C3-Alps.

Comment: Climateguide.fi is not only adaptation platform and but a climate platform, but if you wish to use the former term for the purpose of this, then it’s ok.

    • Two typos on the 2nd column (name of the portal, focus of the portal and the word Finnish)]:

    Climateguide.fi (Finnish Climate Platform)

  • downicla (Clare Downing) 02 Apr 2015 14:33:49

    Adressed.

Finnish Adaptation Platform remains as it is consistent with all other platforms that are refered to in the report.

In the text, the Dutch portal is referred to as www.climateadaptationservices.com. However the correct link to the portal should be www.ruimtelijkeadaptatie.nl/en/

The Climate Adaptation Services team is the foundation which developed and now maintains the portal.
