    For France, we do not observe the increase of water consumption as shown in Table 4.2. Water consumption for agriculture remains around 2,4 Mdm3 - some years more and some years less, depending on precipitation.

    Additionally, the Table is not very nice and not fully transparent since the figures are not shown.

      The figure has been redesigned with the aim of simplfying it for the interpretation. 

      We have added the following note under the respective figure; 

      "According to the European dataset on water abstraction for agriculture there is small increase in France particularly for the period 2010-2017, whereas France indicated no significant change in annual water abstraction for agriculture (for the same period)"
