The data for the "manufacturing and electricity cooling" sectors are indicated separately in the table in question, as groundwater, surface water and in total. While groundwater data was calculated by adding “manufacturing” to “electricity” cooling waters, it was observed that only “electricity” cooling waters were used in surface water data. For this reason, the data declared in total do not match with the data reported by our Institution to the relevant institutions.

The amount of water abstracted by sectors, which is included in the table "Reference data on water abstraction and returns (Reference annual country level 2000-2019)" and within the scope of our unit's works, has been compared on the basis of the years 2014-2016-2018. As a result of the comparison, it has been observed that the "Amount of surface and ground water abstraction by municipalities" reported by our Institution to OECD and/or Eurostat, and the amount of surface and groundwater data specified in the mentioned table do not match.
