Delphi is a method for conducting an expert survey in two or more 'rounds'. In the second and lsubsequent rounds of a survey, the results of the previous round(s) are given as feedback. The method applies a set of predefined questions about the future that organisers present to participants so as to receive their rankings and comments on the future. On this basis the organisers refine the questions and run the processes again in a series of rounds until a consensus answer is arrived at. The aim of the Delphi is to structure group communication processes to deal with complex issues.
