Overview of table of contents and indicators in report

The English summary of the Nature Report 2005 (NARA 2005) presents 33 indicators in line with the focal areas from the Biodiversity Convention and the European headline indicators. Although the available information yields a partially incomplete picture, the overall assessment allows to conclude that the state strongly varies between ecosystem types and that current policy efforts are too limited to realize the 2010-target.
