Short description from SERIS (old):

The primary purpose of this review is to assist the World Bank in contributing to this urgent task by updating its understanding of the environment in Serbia and Montenegro, with a view to guiding the Bank's environment strategy in the context of the current social and economic situation. To this end, the review has assessed and assigned priorities to the environmental problems at the level of the Republics and the Federation (excluding Kosovo and Metohija).
