Short description from SERIS (old):

As in the unabridged version of the Yearbook, the Summary comprises nineteen chapters and an appendix. The first five chapters represent the core of the work dedicated to the production sectors, examined in terms of their interrelation with the environment. The indicator selection process was based on the specific criteria: high quality and availability of the information; availability of well-defined and objective references for a more interpretation of the trend; high communication impact. To represent the indicators, with the aim of providing clear and effective information, graphs and theme maps have been preferred, and tables added only in a limited number of cases. The text in PDF format is available on websites: http://annuario.isprambiente.it/sites/default/files/pdf/Ver_2/EnglishSummary_Edizione2004.pdf and http://www.isprambiente.gov.it/en/publications/state-of-the-environment/environmental-data-yearbook-edition-2004-summary
