The Manual consists of a main part and annexes. It delivers a comprehensive description of the background and the principles of reporting under the UWWTD, explains the concepts, data model and structure of UWWTD reporting under Article 15 and includes guidance on the generation of the required GIS- (Annex 4) and XML-files and the use of the UWWTD Data Management and Evaluation Tool (DEM-tool). A comprehensive data dictionary (Annex 7), focusing on data fields and the coding of parameters shall help users to provide data in the required format; the glossary (Annex 9) provides explanations on terms and definitions.
